I love all the different locations, and if you are a fan of the LOTR books or movies, and you found Shadow of Mordor a little dull, I really think you should check it out. I'm really big on atmosphere in games, and this one really delivered by giving you the feeling of being a group of adventurers on a quest in a rich fantasy world. It didn't ruin my experience, but it can be a problem. I have an AMD card and there were one or two sections where the game really struggled, but I got through it. Apparently all of the versions, console or PC, are a bit buggy, and the PC version is notorious for not playing well with AMD graphic cards. Mechanically, it is an over-the-shoulder action-RPG, and you play as one of a human, dwarf, and elf, and the other 2 you don't pick are either AI, or you can play co-op with others online.
